Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Good point.

Sadly, I just didn't want to put out. Well, not with him at least. And I'm not quite at the Love the One You're With stage.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

billytea had a beard ?

Ayup. Apperently getting rid of it made me go from looking 35 to looking 16.

I wonder if billytea knows anything interesting about kinkajous.

Well now, it's a member of the Carnivora, but is unusual in both being primarily vegetarian, and having a prehensile tail. And it's insanely cute, it's fairly closely related to raccoons.

I'm thinking "did billytea hire a kinkajou to put a hit on Paris Hilton?"

Honestly, I was just trying to make her look more troll-like by comparison. It was the kinkajou's idea to get physical.

The status is NOT quo.

Anyone there? Just woke up from a bad nightmare.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm here, Kristin--waiting for the boy to wake up. You ok?

Hey Cash. I'm okay-ish. Just wide awake and shaky. I have to get up in a few hours, and I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to fall back asleep. I'm glad someone else is around. Thanks.

ETA: Hope the boy is well. I'm going to attempt falling back asleep now. Thank you again.

I hope you can get a little more sleep. The boy's fighting off the snot monster (again) but he just got up and seems happy as a clam watching Sesame Street and drinking some chocolate milk.

Oh, interesting experience at Toastmasters last night. My club had a visitor, a journalist who's writing an article on public speaking for the Age. I had a good talk with him about public speaking, and in particular giving my mother's eulogy. And then I had a speech evaluation to give, which proved to be a trickier assignment than I was expecting. The speaker was arguing that we should teach intelligent design in schools. For about the first time, I felt obliged to give a disclaimer at the start of the evaluation that I held strong opinions on the speech topic.

Oh, Kristin, I hope you fell easily back to sleep and got some more good rest.

Cass, what are you doing up so early?

I'm off to see my honors' adviser. We'll see what he thinks of my schedule...
