Oh, interesting experience at Toastmasters last night. My club had a visitor, a journalist who's writing an article on public speaking for the Age. I had a good talk with him about public speaking, and in particular giving my mother's eulogy. And then I had a speech evaluation to give, which proved to be a trickier assignment than I was expecting. The speaker was arguing that we should teach intelligent design in schools. For about the first time, I felt obliged to give a disclaimer at the start of the evaluation that I held strong opinions on the speech topic.

So, meeting with adviser went well. He didn't bat an eye over my potential schedule. What he did bat an eye over was my suggestion of a Psych Senior Honors Thesis. He's like, "You don't *need* two."
