I fed off a flowerperson, and I spent the next six hours watchin' my hand move.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How professional of him!

No kidding. It's his job to read papers fairly and objectively!!!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Here are some yummy Harvey purr-vibes for you!

ETA: I was briefly upset with myself yesterday, for mispelling "Hallowe'en". Then I realized it was an entirely forgiveable typo, as I remembered the apostrophe, and just forgot one l.

he noted that he's doing it on the defensive, so he may come back tougher.

What Stephanie said about fair and objective. If he's going to raise the bar for you, he should be raising for himself, also.

For those of you following the continuing saga of my nephew's ankle, the Principal apparently tried out the, "boys will be boys and they were just roughhousing" line on my sister in a meeting yesterday. She let him know that as only one boy was a willing participant, "premeditated assault" was the correct term, and the one that she and the police would be using. He blinked and asked her to please not sue the school but go after the boy's parents only. Oy. What a loser.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

He blinked and asked her to please not sue the school but go after the boy's parents only.

What a fucko.

And I mean that in the lowest possible case ever.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

He blinked and asked her to please not sue the school but go after the boy's parents only.

Has this man perchance been in charge of FEMA until recently? Because I recognize the leadership style from somewhere.

brillig

Just talked to Hubby's surgeon. The problem wasn't nearly as bad as they thought it was going to be. We thought he was going to have to have a full-scale reconstruction, but what was going on was a tear in the librum (the gasket around the ball of the shoulder joint). Plus there was a big calcium deposit that the surgeon took out.

IE, "next to no recovery, make sure he gets that arm moving as much as he can."

I will not cry in the waiting room, I will not cry in the waiting room.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh yay, that's good news. Recovery-ma anyway!

That is wonderful news, connie! You may flood the waiting room with tears of good news, IMHO.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Amych has a good point. Sorry the guy is being such a wanker, Sparky.

I woke up at 9:18 this morning (work starts at 10:00 and is about 30 minutes away), and it's raining here. Can I have a do over?

eta: Yay Connie.
