To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Susan, I'm so happy that your new job is going to be good for you, and I'm glad that Annabel is enjoying day care. As for the tuna casserole, well, fruit and cheese is soooooo Continental. Classy-like. Who could resist.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Can't blame anyone for skipping tuna cassarole. Actually, I think fruit and cheese is much healthier.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

And in his underground lair, Neil Diamond is twirling his moustache and exclaiming "Curses! Foiled again!"

Want. Take. Tag?

Cute Penguins!

I'm hating the birthday-ignoring people.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Want. Take. Tag?

Well, of course.

Hi Fay!

Mostly lurking...

Jessica, that is rotten, rotten, rotten. I can't believe people would be that blatently cruel and dismissive. I am angry on your behalf.

Back in Chicago, I saw things like that happening in our corporate office (where I got a promotion to while I was there), and I was sick of it. So, I set out to make birthday treats for each person in the office for a whole year. It was great! People loved it and looked forward to it. I wish I was in your office. I'd fix it right now. Bastards.

Yay, Drew! How exciting!!!!

I did really well yesterday, making it through classes, tutoring and work. I got home and crashed. I was SO tired. I went to bed at 7:30pm. Of course, I was up half the night coughing, so I paid for possibly overdoing it. Now I have to figure out what to do today. I'm thinking of trying to go to lab on Thursday instead, but I have to figure out a plan with my TA first, because we have a lab report due today...and, unfortunately, it's handwritten, so I can't e-mail it to her. Ugh.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Congratulations, Drew!

Yay Drew!

We do birthday celebrations once a month, cake and ice cream in the kitchen for all of that months' birthdays.
