Congrats, ND!

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I think we should order a cake and have it delivered to Jess at work, and flowers, and perhaps a balloon.
Congrats, ND! I'm glad you were recognized for all your hard work.

I think we should order a cake and have it delivered to Jess at work, and flowers, and perhaps a balloon.
I think that's a wonderful plan!
Yes!!!
There really is no excuse -- either you do something for everyone's birthday or you ignore everyone's birthday.
Those aren't just shoes for Jilli -- those are gorgeous.
There's another reason to trade my workplace with a Bitch -- I live in fear they'll remember my birthday. So far so good, but the new boss can be wily. They're pretty evenhanded about birthdays -- it's baby showers/gifts where things get uneven. I think they should just stop those.
Congratulations, Drew! Woo and hoo!
Good luck with the surgery, Jilli.
Wow, Jessica's coworkers suck.
I got a "We got your info and will let you know if you make the cut for interviews" letter from a job opening with which Amych hooked me up. Which is more than I've gotten from anyone else recently, so I'm gonna call it a happy thing--thanks Amych!
Congratulations to Drew!

Rock on, Calli!
Yay, ND!
Question for experienced cat-ownersknowing-type people: Any clues on why my (neutered at 5 mos.) male cat repeatedly bites the neck of my (spayed at 4 mos.) female cat? He's always done this once in a while, but now it seems to be twice every hour. It started about the time that she staked out my bed for her exclusive use during the day, but whether that was her defence against his sexual harassment or the start of it, I don't know. I do know that last night after being the victim of that special love-bite, she beat the tar out of him with the result that he slept downstairs by himself overnight, instead of on me.
Another question is, do cats in colder climates have a physiological need for larger portions of food as winter sets in, or are they just big whiners? They are getting more insistent at non-mealtimes that they are very hungry and need to be fed again. They don't seem to be either losing or gaining weight.
