Poor JZ. I left her off the list.
I suck. (though not as much as Teppy)
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

From everything I've seen, it's one of those churches that's marked more by what they're for than what they're against.
That's wonderful.
Hey, JZ! Whatcha doing up so early?
I'm up. Breakfast was english muffins. One with peanut butter and one with raspberry preserves. Really hit the spot.
If XX-thirty o'clock is right it shouldn't be.
I opened a second bottle of wine, and it's gone off. good wine, too.
I hate when they run away like that. You should consider keeping it in a locked cabinet.
The kids, Tep, Sparky, and Sparky's DH started a lively game of Uno...vicious I should say, with my son leading the trash talking. There are days I wonder who raised my kids.
Feisty competitive kids. Clearly they were tutored by someone else.
Listening to Bio lectures doesn't really sound like a rocking good time to me.

It's not. Which is why I keep refreshing hoping to chat with my Bitches. But, I'm very thankful I have that option, otherwise, I'd have to drop this class. I would have missed too much. As it is, I'm having a hard time understanding...I can't imagine trying to catch up without it.

Perfect!
What are the left coasters doing up so early? Not that we mind. Hi Perky and JZ!
Not only did I go to bed at about 10:30, but I am meeting Kat in San Jose at 7:00 for breakfst. After I come back, I may nap.
Woo! Only two more lectures to go. Then I'm all caught up!
Yay!
I toppled into bed at a bit past ten, slept very very hard and very very deep, and woke up about half an hour ago slightly yawny but mostly rested and ready to go. Now I have to wait for the rest of my city to wake up.
I'm one of the readers at church today (not until quarter to one, so plenty of time yet to loll about). I'm all full of love for it right now -- last week, our retired pastor stepped in and pinch-hit with a homily that was just amazing: kind and thoughtful and wise and full of well-reasoned and soft-spoken rage against the holders of power, ranging from the current administration to Rome.
The most amazing part, and the hardest to explain without going into a lot of churchy folderol, was that in the middle of the service he invited us all to recite a short prayer with him. This prayer happens to be one that our new bishop, the conservabot from Ohio (sorry, Tep), has decreed may only be spoken by the priest. Our parish staff has always been very vocal about the people themselves being the living body of the church and the hierarchy existing only to serve that body; this one decree about this one prayer is a particularly petty and stupid little way of asserting that no, it's the other way around, and we the bosses get to boss you peons around over even the crappiest little details, so shut up and stop being disobedient. And our pastor inviting everyone to join in was a pretty explicit EAT IT to the bishop. If he gets in trouble for it, we'll all be at his side, fist and fang.
Also, in completely other news: Maidengurl's kids, in addition to being fine trash-talkers, are cute as bugs, buttons, and fluffy bunnies. Very, very cute. And, as they get older, the family resemblance is getting more and more striking. Her eyes, her nose, her chin, the turn of her head, so visible in CJ and K-bug's faces last night.
We're watching Robin Hood on TMC. Bobby hasn't seen it before and is enthralled. Ah, men in tights.
