Hello Kitty ribbon!!
Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
It's Monday and I've eaten too much chocolate and my day has been full of boring meetings and I have to go home and study and I'm bored and tired and grumpy. Yearly winter fatigue has set in, I think.
ETA: The HK ribbon is so adorable! Needs!
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Actress Sutton Foster was rehearsing a number called "I'm An Accident Waiting to Happen" earlier this week when she fell and broke her arm.
BWAH!
Good one, Aims!!!
eBay has spoiled me for buying lace trim. I've reached the point where I turn my pale little nose up at anything that is less than 25 yard lots.
Someone, please, distract me. There isn't enough at work right now to do so, and I should not be left alone with my thoughts at the moment, because I really don't want to start crying (again) at my desk.
Jilli, I think you should buy the book of Edward Gorey interviews Ascending Peculiarity because he was always a very cool and fascinating oddball, and I think you'd really like his story.
He was roommates with (the great poet) Frank O'Hara in college and was an obsessed balletomane who never missed a New York City Ballet performance for 17 years. Can you imagine how cool it was in the 70s to see him over at the sidebench at the ballet during intermission, holding court in his giant fur coat, earrings, beringed fingers and sneakers?
Also, this is very beautiful.
Also, You need the Pirate Playing card set that we use at Chez Zmayhem.
I think you need this movie poster.
Oh Jilli, I am so sorry. I don't think I had a chance to say something before.

I have been meaning to. Of course, right now I'm re-reading all the Harry Potter books, because they're good, distracting comfort reads.
Aaaaaand I just found out that am going to have a minor surgical proceedure on my birthday. Which is crappy timing, but no more cramps for the rest of my life is a pretty good birthday gift to myself.
Now I just need enough days to have passed that I'm not constantly missing my cat. I can't even imagine what Aimée is going through.
Oh love. Losing someone is hurty no matter if it's a beloved kitty or a beloved Grampy.
And yes, days need to go by quicker.
I'm making brownie sundays for dinner. Who wants to join us?
