Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

'Touched'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

lots of -ma for C.

Good luck on the job today, Raq! And ease-ma for Mal on his first day of Mamma-working.

Have a very good day, vw!

Ginger, your ability to remain sane in situations where I'd be a screaming maniac constantly amazes me. No way would I go on a trip with my mother and sisters. Nuh-huh. Never.

HOLY GLUCOSE, BATMAN!! My OB just called. I PASSED the big, long diabetes test last week!!! After my initial elevated test, I was so sure I'd have it (hence the doom and gloom in LJ). But he said although the numbers were on the high side of normal, they were normal. He just said I should follow the diet loosely!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Good lord, Fred. I've been in that station at rush hour and I can just imagine the riot.

I hate when those Homicide/L&O crossovers come up, because my Tivo catches the Homicide and I get all excited that it's going to be back on and then nuthin'. Feh.

Always Anti-fascist!

Already, sj, that sucks. ETA: Wrod, Brenda. Tired of my show being a stepchild while Without A trace is syndicated already. If I didn't have crusades already, man...

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Please feel free to ignore the rant: Yesterday was a disaster, and I am dreading having to leave in a little while to go back there. I keeping getting different information on how to do things from every manager I work with. I kept screwing up in little ways yesterday(which wouldn't be happening if I got any kind of cashier training at all), that somehow got turned into major disasters. My manager freaked out at us because we couldn't remember the exact percentages of shrink that relate to fellow employees, customers, and employee error that we learned in training. And, finally I made it through a four hour shift without feeling like death only to be informed that I would have to stay "a least another hour". I had to fight back tears at that point, and by the time I did leave I felt like crap again. Also, they are scheduling me for too many hours and being on call for so many shifts sucks beyond belief. Grr

{{sj}} retail is absolute hell. I wish the managers could get their act together. I figure the scheduling will be bad since they're entering Christmas shopping season. I hope it gets easier for you.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

but it makes no specific argument for any specific theology. The God proven within is eternal, unique, and a Creator. That's it.

That's a pretty specific theology, if you ask me.

I don't personally think any "proof" of the existance of God is going to hold up if the person reading/writing it isn't already a believer -- my willingness to accept conclusion C depends entirely on how much I buy premise A in the first place, not how air-tight steps B1-25 are.
