Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am debating the farmer's market this morning

I'm pictuing you at a podium and I don't know what at the other

A bushel of organic produce, perhaps?

Trudy, are you hungover after your booze-soaked evening last night?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

What's yours?

Probably some Gerber daisies.

We're at the assend of a lot of the daintier flowers and I'm not as good at arranging the more fall-ish stuff so the options are a little more limited than in spring and summer.

Besides, Gerbers are tricksey.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh, yes. I want to know this. It will let me know if I should go for the sympathy or the giggling at your postings...

I'm at the don't want to shower phase of the morning. Still at that phase, I should say.

Entirely possible -- after booze-soaked evenings, I often tend to be still buzzed/drunk when I wake up. (As, for instance, the first F2F.)

Teppy's boozination at the first F2F is the stuff of legend. Perhaps there should be an entry in the FAQ....

Ah, I remmeber it well.

My family is chock a block with alcoholics. For years I wouldn't drink to excess and had strict rules about when I would drink at all. In my thirties a dear dear friend of mine who is actually an alcoholic in recovery told me to just relax -- I'm clearly not an alcoholic and I'm statistically safe from becoming one at this point (well, until I am in my seventies).

It appears, however, that suffer from mint julep specific alcoholism.
