Xander: Am I right, Giles? Giles: I'm almost certain you're not. Though, to be fair, I haven't been listening.

'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Besides, Gerbers are tricksey.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

after booze-soaked evenings, I often tend to be still buzzed/drunk when I wake up. (As, for instance, the first F2F.)

Teppy's boozination at the first F2F is the stuff of legend. Perhaps there should be an entry in the FAQ....

Ah, I remmeber it well.

My family is chock a block with alcoholics. For years I wouldn't drink to excess and had strict rules about when I would drink at all. In my thirties a dear dear friend of mine who is actually an alcoholic in recovery told me to just relax -- I'm clearly not an alcoholic and I'm statistically safe from becoming one at this point (well, until I am in my seventies).

It appears, however, that suffer from mint julep specific alcoholism.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm thinking still drunk...

The wuwu behind girlie cancers is that they are tied up in bad relationships or bad feelings about sex. She had that bad marriage thing after my dad, got cancer, chopped out the uterus, chopped him out of her life - ergo, no reason to do paps or mammograms.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

We're dealing with a whole round of after effects of Owen's flu shot.

Whew, I'm glad Flea had some idea of what's going on, as I had no clue.

My pumpkins are at the end of week 2 of their "stupid" cold (Kara's words... probably gotten from her mother).

I do not want to write Emily's or Kristin's papers.

I want Cass' farmers market. I am so jealous of the Sunday-flower-getting posters. (Am looking squinty-eyed at Betsy, too.)

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Ah, I remmeber it well.

And I, on the other hand, remember very little of it.

Remarkable how psychological damage/effects etc. are all tidy and simple and never fucking linger. Very handy, that. She should teach me how to do that. I'll teach her how to make men make love to you for days on end against their will and abi or val or whomever it was the other day with her magical ability can do that too. oy oy oy

The physical/mental link doesn't stop there. Rheumatoid arthritis is caused by masturbation, and osteoarthritis is caused by lingering emotional bitterness and unforgiveness. I can't recall what causes thyroid problems. It's been a long time since I was involved with any group that espoused those beliefs.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Wait, Trudy knows how to get men to make love for days on end? And she's not sharing this knowledge with US?

Now I am thinking that a hat could take care of the gross hair issue and I could just run over there. I really do love it too and not going feels like I am a bad patron and shouldn't get to have nice farmer's markets if I am not going to use, or peruse, them.

It comes down to I love my mom dearly and think she is very wise on a lot of things. This one we disagree on and neither is going to sway the other, so we don't try.
She should teach me how to do that.
And if you want her to teach you any of it, well let's just say that I sense there would be resistance. She is very much about the energy and expectations you have coming back to you. Change those, really honestly change them, and change your life.
