I don't have a trigger, vw, but it did make me uncomfortable anyway...I just had skimmed past it until you mentioned it, ironically.
Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
No worries, vw. I think my cranky is beginning to bleed through to my posts too much anyway.
Minor freak-out caused by a trigger.
No further explanation necessary. Everyone has triggers and my words hit one of yours. Easily solved.
(I'm getting pink shooooz!)
Yay!
but it did make me uncomfortable anyway
Huh. In what way? I mean, was I just too descriptive or was it because it came on the heels of brenda's KILL KILL KILL comment... or something else?
Sometimes a specific suggestion of violence directed at a complete stranger over the internet just jumps up and screams at you, you know?
Now I'm curious what I missed. Suffice to say that no suggestion of violence aimed at this particular person will bother me, but I'm possibly a little biased.

Suggestions of violence directed at a complete stranger over the internet should use their indoor voices.
Aw, heck, Hec. Hate to hear that. I know you'll come through with your usual flair and aplomb(since you are cool enough to know what aplomb is, exactly.) (frowns at compliment) Not nice like yours...(gives Hec quarter as tribute.)
brenda, are you on aim?
I guess that makes sense.
For anyone that read what I typed and felt uncomfortable because of it, I apologise. Totally not what I meant to do.
Maybe I should edit my earlier joke about Sparky's co-worker, also? We've been having morbidly odd (and completely joking!) conversations in the office today and I seem to be a little one-track minded at this time.
I can't explain why some comments suddenly look really real and harmful, and others slide right on by. It's as much to do with me as it is with the words, quite probably.
