I guess that makes sense.
For anyone that read what I typed and felt uncomfortable because of it, I apologise. Totally not what I meant to do.
Maybe I should edit my earlier joke about Sparky's co-worker, also? We've been having morbidly odd (and completely joking!) conversations in the office today and I seem to be a little one-track minded at this time.
I can't explain why some comments suddenly look really real and harmful, and others slide right on by. It's as much to do with me as it is with the words, quite probably.
Heck, I make specific suggestions of things I'd never do to total strangers all the time. (I'm not at all sure that sentence made sense.) I just think you hit on an unfortunately association-bearing suggestion this time.
Er, what I meant up there was things like, "I'd like to thwap him with a gerund and see how he likes it!" not, like, random alleyway encounters.
I actually don't think that Nicole's comment was different from a whole heck of a lot of violence that gets suggested here against people we don't know.
That it was a specific trigger for vw was handled a.s.a.p., just as it should be.
Maybe I should edit my earlier joke about Sparky's co-worker, also?
I'm not uncomfortable with it, and, like I said above, I don't think your comments were different from a lot of what gets said here.
Just had my annual review....
Okay, I was trying to say what Sparky said, but I got a little tangled up in my negations.
Just had my annual review....
And? They find you as fabulous as we do?
Just had my annual review....
Because of the hours you work, you probably have one of these every three months or so...
WELL? don't leave us hanging!
They find you as fabulous as we do?
*blush* but YES! I "Exceed Expactations" and had lots of glowing things written about me.
"Suzi is a value to the client. The program would be lost without her knowledge and understanding" and "It was nice to see Suzi release some of her workload to others in an attempt to the get the priority things done. This is the first step to becoming a leader."
They also want to change me from hourly to salaried at the end of the year, with a nice bump in $. There are some issues with that, but the $ would be nice.
