Kaylee: You're nice, too. Mal: No, I'm not. I'm a mean old man.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hey, Dylan, if you're lurking, I hope Susan's interview went well.

They called her references after the interview. Good sign, right?

Susan's computer and one of my backup drives was frelled by a power spike this morning. Still trying to figure out how much damage to her novel. Hopefully not more than day's worth of edits.

ETA: Second interview next week.

Thrive to spite them

One of my coworkers said that she wouldn't buy them, but if someone gave them to her she'd wear them.

If someone gave me those shoes I'd wonder why they hated me.

and then I wonder why they thought I had such bad taste.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Maidengurl, I mixed up your kids! I thought you meant C, not K-bug. d'oh.

Trudy - they are both sophomores. I have not talked post high school with C yet. Not sure if she has really considered her future.

She was so sweet this morning. C is spending the weekend with her father and I probably won't see her before he picks her up this afternoon. I headed out to work late and she came downstairs early so I got hugs and a few minutes of her/me time. As I headed out the door, she said "I'll miss you, love you".

When I got to work K-Bug called and was all lovey too.

The only kid I didn't hear from was CJ. But between being a boy and being 9, he is not much for picking up the phone.

If those shoes were about $10, I would buy them, because they're just so...SO.

I am grateful that I have nothing to wear them with.

Awww for family!

Emily has taken to calling Toto, "Muffin." I think it's weird. She thinks it's weirder that I call him, "Pumpkin."

Poor dog. It's not bad enough that he's named after a movie dog...he has to be called food too.

When you start calling him Totoboo or Pumpkinboo or Pupaboo, then you should worry.

Plei's words stick.

Of course, I call my cat Liege-butt.
