Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Librarian Warlord

This year's good thing: I finished editing the latest edition of a textbook I write (and the extra income is very welcome) and got Perkins to agree to help the next time around.

lisah, if you must be mad at yourself, be mad for the right reasons. Asking for information you need to do your part is justifed.

Nora, GO YOU GRAD SCHOOL BABE!

I'm getting the pig!

I get the most emotional or frustrated at work when I'm in charge of a project and I'm either not completely sure of how to accomplish the project or when FUCKOS that I have to depend on to get me information AREN'T DOING THEIR JOB!

lisah, I hope your situation is resolved easily enough without an assload of further stress.

Punishingly Intricate

lisah, I hope your situation is resolved easily enough without an assload of further stress.

Thanks. The resolution is me being better able to control my emotions I guess. My boss told me that if I need to vent just tell him and we can go to a closed room and I can yell all I want. It's remembering to do that when I'm in UTTERLY IRRITATED mode that's the problem for me.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

YAY NORA! You are my grad school hero. "I want to be just like Nora when I grow up."

Good things about 2005: I have good health, a person to share my life with, a great home, and a job that I actually enjoy. Also, making the decision to go back to school. It's already stimulating my brain.

{{{lisah}}} I've so been there.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Nora! Have I said woohoo you! yet? You've done awesomely well, and you deserve lots of woohoos!

lisah, that's rough. I can see both sides of that issue, and neither of them are particularly pleasant.

Ew, delicious teeth? 'scuse it, I have tooth issues anyway, at the moment. Dental appointment on Monday to deal with a broken tooth. He's going to want to replace the broken crown, and frankly, we don't have the money. And if we did? I'm not entirely sure I'd want to spend it on repairing an inconvenient but mostly cosmetic issue.

Mostly lurking...

Just got an e-mail from my cousin who lives in Germany. His wife just had their baby...little boy...William Samuel (William is my uncle's name and cousin's middle name). 10 pounds something. He's so round and cute! So exciting!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Wow, big baby! Talking about vw's new cous-let.

I just had the weirdest dream. I was living in a studio appartment, which I had just moved into. Was having dinner with my family, when my father, may he rest in peace, asked what was I going to do, now that I have been evicted. My response was that I had nothing to worry about, hadn't been evicted, hadn't done anything to get evicted for. Got home, and sure enough there was a very long series of complaints about my behavior, and an eviction notice - not for things like being behind on rent, but for being drunk and disorderly in the courtyard, and leaving windows open while prancing around naked in the appartment. Was very shocked, as I had not done those things. Woke up before I could attempt to straighten out the landlord.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Because books.

Wasn't someone wanting pink Converse hightops not long ago? I was at Marshall's last night and they have a lot of pairs in a lot of sizes -- they're graduated, with hot pink closest to the heel, then a band of slightly lighter, pink, and lightest still near the toe. Even the lightest isn't really light, though.

If anyone wants, I can pick up and ship out.

Was very shocked, as I had not done those things. Woke up before I could attempt to straighten out the landlord.
