gronk. Isaac is fussing (probably a reaction to his shots yesterday) so I am up and grading. How can today already suck so hard?
Inventing dumb games is one of the best parts of being a parent.
Very true, although in our house it is often the babies who make up the games. For me it is inventing dumb songs. I make up songs all day long. Now I hear my daughter doing it too.
Ginger, you're going to be in DC?
Yes. Tomorrow until Wednesday. I meant to post something about it to see if I could get together with some DCistas, but things kind of got away from me.
Have a great time.
don't get in a screaming fight on the Metro, like me, last time I was there.
Ugh. Maybe I overdid it yesterday.
I was up from about 3am on coughing and using my inhaler. About to call my doctor. Gonna miss at least my first two classes.
If I get on a screaming fight on the Metro, it will probably be with my mother and sister, who will be questioning my every decision even though neither of them has done any of the work or research for this trip.
eta: I'm sorry, vw. I was hoping the new drugs would help. My mild asthma is scary enough.
Sanity-ma for Ginger. Travelling with my mother and my sister...*shudder*
Travelling with erika, however, sounds much more exciting.
Take it easy today, vw.
I'd much prefer the trip with Erika. We could snark at public officials.
wrod.
No, Cash, the riders of the Green Line got a father/daughter Dr. Phil, without Dr. Phil...it wasn't working for us.
We probably are urban legends by now.
tiny irascible moronic bundles of adorableness. EN MASSE!!!
And here I thought that was the Buffista babies.
God that trip sounds wonderful. I'm totally jealous, in a totally happy-for-you way.
Raq, I think it was a little before your time, and it wasn't that good, but there was a movie: Hawmps!. It was like "F Troop," with camels added. Had Slim Pickens, Denver Pyle, and Jack Elam, among others.
A bit, but mostly it falls into the category of movies I would've ignored while channel surfing, and thus missed out on edjumacating myself.

This sounds like a good story.
In Mallory news, the second tooth has broken the surface. Still no fussiness. He's also better about the separation anxiety, not going all Nagasaki on the babysitter. And he's started crawling FORWARD.
But it looks like we aren't going back to the States for R&R after all. So. Anyone know where I can get a nice Christmas stocking for the little boy? (Not for the first time do I wish Michael's had an online store).
