Ugh. Am feeling for all the people needing hairpats right now, because this morning, as many of you saw in my LJ, they announced the results of the study I've been working on for the past nearly-two-years, and it failed. Completely and utterly crap. Which was a total shock, no one expected that. (Worst case scenario was expected to be "it worked, but not well enough that we can call it 'significant'", and even that was considered unlikely).
So, I've still got a job, but it's a hell of a lot more depressing and tenuous than it was yesterday. Our stock plunged from $13 to less than $4. This sucks. A lot. I love my job and my coworkers, and now it's all going to suck.
