Buffy: How was school today? Dawn: The usual. A big square building filled with boredom and despair. Buffy: Just how I remember it.

'The Killer In Me'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Here are the costumes for tonight. Aidan went out an hour and had had enough. Kara convinced her Daddy to take her back out for a little bit longer. [link]

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Babe, we know your obsessions reach far and wide.

DON'T MAKE ME GET MY BELT!

OK, that's a whole new obsession.

And I don't want to judge but, dudes, tmi.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Squee!!!! Baby buffistas in costumes!!!!

It is raining, so I have had very few trick-or-treaters. Still, the kitty-face pumpkin is lit up and the bowl of Pain Candy is by the door in hopes that more will show up.

Dude. You live with Susan. Tell me I'm wrong. Hee.

Look, you say this stuff, and I'm left to deal with THREE DAYS of Susan obsessing over what you said to her.

Because books.

Back from trick-or-treating. Exhausting, I say. But Sara took to it like a fish to water -- by the third house, she was running behind Ben, calling, "Me, me, me!" Ben and Daddy are going back out since it's Sara's bedtime, and Mommy is beat.

Pretty Kara! Adorable Aidan!

Must upload a picture of the little ladybug in a bit.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Just back from a grocery store run to pick up a missing ingredient for dinner. Lots of kiddies already in costume.

I had Annabel in her Mariners jacket, a thrift-store find of slightly out-of-date design. (At least, I don't think they make team gear with those teal sleeves anymore.) I figured if anyone asked, I'd say she was a Mariner from back when the team knew how to win games. Maybe Edgar in '95, 'cuz she has way too much hair to be Buhner and is cuter and more charming than A-Rod.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

The kids are all dressed up. Pictures will be taken soon, but don't know when I'll get to post. K-Bug is dead. She is "coffin girl" for a haunted house. CJ is still in his Giants uniform.

DH is grumbly, understandably so - he got laid off today.

C has volunteered to man the door while I take CJ out.

I need a flask to keep me fortified this evening. I wish!!!
