'Underneath'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I like the combo of white-gloves-and-pearls with apron-and-wooden-spoon.

I was a 1950s housewife. I even baked pumpkin bread and took it with me.

Oh, Steph! So fun! I love it.

So, I'm feeling shitty. My throat is just raw from all the coughing, and now I'm getting a headache from it all. Why did this have to happen during the weekend when my only option is the ER? I don't feel like making trips two days in a row.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I was a 1950s housewife.

Yup. That photo reminded me very much of a picture that Anne Taintor might use on one of her cards.

Always Anti-fascist!

Fay! Babe, sorry I missed you. The interview's in press...they're just being kind because my life is shit, I think, but I hope you like it anyway. I watched "Say Anything" with commentary yesterday. Cutest commentary ever.Even beats out Clark Johnson on H:LOTS season four and Domenic West's cute London vowels.(Although the story about DW, Londoner, getting the story from his TV partner about why you might not want to stand up in an audience of black Americans and say the next season will be a "real cracker" is still a classic.)

Right now 3 good friends live in our building and another lives a few houses away on our street and a fabulous new deli/coffeeshop place has opened a scant few yards away from our building - it's becoming surprisingly like 'Friends', with our very own Central Perk.

Awww! Can I just say how very much fun Fay and her friends are, and how much I really wish I were hanging out with them in Cairo again? It sounds like a blast!

Very amusing costume on Teppy. hee. After working for 12 hours Wed/Thurs/Fri, and being at work 13 hours yesterday (not really "working" for all of it) I borrowed a pitchfork from a coworker, put on horns, and wore a blue dress, to be a "devil with a blue dress on". But then I only managed to stay at the party for like, an hour, and pooped out and came home. It's COLD in my house right now, and I turned on the heat, but it doesn't seem to have turned on, so I might need to go tell it to be warmer. Hmph.

And another thing? I want to be the girl people *flirt* with, not the girl people talk about recycling with. IJS. (Artifact of the party last night. What is it about me that inspires people to talk about garbage?)

Always Anti-fascist!

Well, Teppy, wrod. Substitute "operations" for garbage and I second that emotion.(I get why though...I travel with a gigantic maim-a-thon visual aid. Sigh.)

Hi. Yes, I skipped. Thanks vw for posting the emails. When I was thinking of early morning posters I thought of you.

So what's new?

Our wings are not tired.

Nah, no juice, but the sweet drone of generators.
