While on our walk with the dogs this morning, Ellie fell asleep. This is great, except that I wanted to go to the gym. The longer she sleeps, the more my motivation to go seems to be creeping away.

I need car-ma, my brakes are squealing. I'm worried it will be an expensive brake job.

Brakes start to squeal when the pads are just about worn out. So if you attend to it right away, you just have the pads to replace (which are cheap). But if you wait too long (and continue to drive the car), you can do more expensive dammage to the brakes.

I just realized the brakes were squealing some the other day, but it wasn't every time I sued the brakes, this morning it was every time. Luckily there is no reason for me to use my car this weekend. I'm going to find some place where I can take my car in on Monday.
