The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Kat, I have one word for you--Dante.

What Robin said.

I just had shrimp creole for lunch, which was yummy, but now I want to take a nap.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Is it still true that there are no city council members who live north of the Ship Canal, despite the fact that something like 60% of the population of the city does? No wonder we don't get nothin'.

Try living in South Seattle these days. I don't know what service here used to be like, outside of the trip from the U District to Georgetown (which can still be done pretty quickly during the work week with the 133), but getting anywhere other than Downtown from Beacon Hill is a bitch.

Silence means security silence means approval

Actually, Steinbrueck lives in Jackson Park. Which has great bus service compared to the rest of the non-U District North End.

If someone's first name is Sarvenaz, would you assume they are male, or female?

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Suffice it to say one of the many things I find eye-rolling about Seattle politics is the lack of a district system for the city council.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would hug the MTA, but I think that guy just peed on it.

Perkins, try the Google picture trick?
