Are you working the padded headgear into your halloween costume?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, there is a wig. Hopefully that will suffice as protection.

And the party's at the centre -- most of the floors are lightly padded. And lots of people trained in first aid.

You know, I realize it is really distressing, but the hypothesis that the fainting episode is some sort of flushing or reset mechanism after bad migraines is intriguing.

I need to remember to toss my old wool dresscoat in with the other stuff. I have no idea why I've been carting it around all this time, given it I haven't been able to button it across my chest since 1994. But it keeps getting moved.

Someone tell me I don't have to go to this party?

ita's head is rebooting itself!

And the party's at the centre -- most of the floors are lightly padded. And lots of people trained in first aid.

Good choice.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Suela, you don't have to go to the party. Take the ten bucks and go see a movie, or buy a bottle of wine or a pizza. You deserve it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not dizzy anymore. And the smallest intervals I've had between two fainting spells are most efficiently measured in months.

Unless someone springs an impromptu vocab test on me as part of the five minute commute to the party, I'll be just fine. And I have no intention of drinking.

I'll be fine.

It's great, honestly. I have no idea how long it will last -- despite the pain from where I hit my head, this is the first time in days and days I've not felt pre-, post-, or pendant-migraine.

Done eating the curry. Now for tea and pie.
