sara, cats all over the world live outside just fine. What you will do is either call a no kill shelter if you continue to worry or you will leave her be.
have you ever gone to the whole Poe grave thingy? we should do that some year.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I know. Rationally, I know. There's a part of me that's like "she picked me! she picked me!" I mean, ack, I was out on my balcony and she was meowing up to me and looking for a way up. And frankly, were it not for the nursing thing, I would be taking her in for shots and a fixing, and then looking for a home for her. We've got quite the feral cat colony here and I'd love to have a TNR program come in (because it is brilliant for disease control), but I haven't found any interested (and attracting the managements' attention would be bad.)
Have not done the grave thingie. I think it's Halloween when the mysterious visitor comes by and leaves a rose and a glass of wine (brandy?) Either that, or the anniversary of Poe's death. So far, I don't think it's been said who it is.
Why I enjoy this show: because you hear phrases like "while she picked out her afro" and the sound of someone being zipped into a silver vinyl mini.
That is really cool. Also makes me think of:
CORNERBOY(Imitating white tourist): Excuse me, young man? Could you tell me where the Poe house is?
His FRIEND: So what you tell 'em?
CORNERBOY: Dag, man,(Indicating beat-up rowhouses) look around.
I heard a joke that made me laugh more than it maybe should.
Q: What's the difference between Lawrence Welk and a moose?
A: On a moose, the asshole is in back and the horns are in front.
Hey ita, I'm watching Corwin's Quest on Animal Planet and he's in Kenya. The country is so beautiful.
Aimee has just made me hysterical.
Tht joke has made me laugh and laugh over the past few days

It's like reading reviews of movies you've already seen ... validation seeking? Wallowing in things that haven't even had time to become nostalgia yet? Dunno.
But thanks for the heads up, Eddie.
erika, HAH. Some of the touristy-famous places are in iffy neighborhood. Like the Babe Ruth museum.
I know the station does simulcasting over the web (I don't know about podcasting. Oh, they do for select stuff: [link] ) You'd probably like this show. It's pretty much random stories from around the area. It runs at 7 pm eastern on friday on WYPR .
