Well, if we followed the recipe...should be cake. A demon-violence-free-zone cake.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, Cashmere - if not paying prevents you from getting your diploma . . .

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

No dying for Buffistas. No "it's chocolate" for ita. More, "it's turnips" or parsnips or something.

Yay for Miers news.

More sleep for Gud! Hey, more sleep for everybody--isn't everyone suffering sleep dep? We need more sleep-hours in the day. Instead of messing with DST, let the time-wankers mandate more hours for sleep.

Brenda! I missed wishing you happy on your day--so here're wishes for a fantastic year, instead.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Well, Cashmere - if not paying prevents you from getting your diploma . . .

Nope--this was a graduate level class I took when I thought I wanted to go back for my masters. Turns out we had to move here when DH got this job so I had to drop out with very little notice.

I already have my B.S. and a copy of my transcript. So they can BITE ME!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The Miers news probably deserves to be repeated a few times.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The Miers news probably deserves to be repeated a few times.

Yes! Hooray!

You know what this is like? On Christmas Eve my family always opens one present each. This is like that.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm disappointed in the Miers news. The embarrassment was hitting nuclear levels. When conservatives are daily digging up things that make the presidential nominee look stupid-- that's fun. I really wanted the hearings to jack it up to a schadenfreude supernova. First are days of tongue-tied testimony, then fiery denunciation from the floor, then a down vote....sigh.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Now we get to worry about fighting off Janice Rogers Brown, or someone lots more acceptible to the far right.

Yikes.

The evil is this way?

GO YOU WHITE SOX!!!!!

On behalf of my team, my apologies in advance. Last year, the Boston Red Sox won the World Series, ending a decades-long curse drought. Leading to the last 12 months of natural disasters of epic proportions (hurricanes, floods, earthquakes). The Chicago White Sox won the World Series last night, ending a decades-long curse drought. Now, the Avian Flu is on the horizon. And we aren't done with the hurricane season.

If the Chicago Cubs ever win the damn thing, we all better start repenting our sins because the Apocalypse will be seriously upon us.

Swouncing

shrift, I hope you get some of the rest you need soon. Or at least bacon.

Gud, you too. Only you can insert "food of your choice" instead of bacon.

[Edit: 9=2+5+2, and it's neither sleep not bacon]
