Always Anti-fascist!

I think there is a similar program in place for TV execs, actually.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Drama stars Colin Ferguson ("Coupling""Coupling") as a federal marshal who gets stranded in the small northwestern town of Eureka. He quickly discovers the town is composed of oddball geniuses assembled by the government to conduct top-secret research -- a clustering that may inadvertently put their lives at risk.

Huh. I missed all the oddball geniuses when I spent the night in Eureka. I did talk to a bartender, who told me about all the economic problems the city has had since the mine shut down.

This is Eureka, NV, right?

eta: What is "Northwestern"?

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Eureka, CA. Near the Oregon border.

Oh.

I started to suspect it was not NV when I noticed the "northwestern."

I was thinking that NV would be more fun, but maybe the desert weirdness has been done before, with Roswell....

You know what I'm over?

I'm over sites with ads that won't properly load which makes the site content not load either. It's stupid.

Swouncing

Hooray for Colin!

Wow, so there really is a place named Eureka.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The Register seems to think the killer dolphin thing is a hoax.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It does sound like a plot that Sci Fi would think twice about. Which is why I want it to be true!

I only want it to be true if I can have a killer dolphin of my own.
