dw, where and why do you keep coming across the crazy people?

I read some of the conservative bloggers, the ones with something to say and not just sucking the GOP's dick. This was from a blog post where the conservative blog author pointed to another blog post that said the crap above. His response to the stupidity was, "So what if the NAACP set it up? Branch Rickey hand-picked Jackie Robinson; does that make baseball's desegregation a fraud? Get over yourself, idiot."

You know, if whitey can buy "tired old woman" better than they can accept "bad-ass activist" that's whitey's problem -- it doesn't take a thing from the courage of Rosa Parks.

What's forgotten is that Parks wasn't sitting in the WHITE part of the bus, she was sitting in the COLORED middle of the bus, where she could be made to give up her seat to a white person. Which is why I read her "I wasn't physically tired, I was tired of the system" as "I'm calling BULLSHIT on this system because I ain't moving my black ass just because the law tells me I have to move it whenever a cracker wants my seat." All with middle-aged dignity, of course.

That's my problem. About once a year they get all cranky and go collecting illegal devices. Except they tell us first. So everyone hides the toasters and the unapproved heaters overnight and hauls them back out in the morning.

Which is why I'm thinking heating pad. Cheaper if I get caught!
