half of my office is sick. half of those sick still came in. I bought Vitamin C, Zinc, and Echinacea at lunch. I also bought alcohol swabs. Back back you evil virusy cooties.
More exciting, I got silver sharpies and big black markers at Staples, AND they had laptop bags, exactly like I'd been looking for online all weekend. Not black; big enough for the laptop, power cord, files and everything I'd carry in my purse; and straps long enough to go over my shoulder. $50. WHEE!

Joey, the lemur, he really is great!
I think this might be my favorite ebay auction listing, to date.
Yep. Managed to lock myself out of the office.
I tip my hat to you, Monday. Game, set, and match.
"The President is just unhappy in general and casting blame all about," said one Bush insider. "Andy [Card, the chief of staff] gets his share. Karl gets his share. Even Cheney gets his share. And the press gets a big share."
Is it just me, or is all this sounding vaguely... Nixonian?
Yep. Managed to lock myself out of the office.
Damn.
I did that once. It was on a holiday, so the rental office was closed. So I had to call a locksmith so I could get back in.
At least my bosses reimbursed me for the locksmith....
I just had to stand around like an idiot until someone else showed up and I could follow him in.
I tip my hat to you, Monday. Game, set, and match.
Next up, Monday presents Dana with a bill for services rendered, accompanied by a never ending loop of "Monday, Monday" by the Mamas and the Papas.
