Yes, because the only reason to include anything in a book/movie/tv show is because the author is 100% in favor of it.
Well, sure. I can't think of any reason anyone would write something down if they weren't all about it.
So it is written, so it shall be.
Hec, what is your tag from?
Aurelia, it's from the Canadian miniseries Slings and Arrows which has been running on IFC and you need to see it immediately! Because it's all about backstage shenanigans at a huge Shakespeare festival and it's extremely entertaining and smart and funny.
Ugh. Will someone tell me that the fact that I feel more and more like death warmed over as the day progresses doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I got a flu shot on Wednesday?
Alternately, tell me about your weekend plans, or if you're Jesse squee about next week, or if you're Maria, link to wedding pictures.

This is why I don't get flu shots.

I'm trying the red pie. It tastes like sugar.
My right arm is swollen and red. This is my fault.
My co-worker has dumped an assload of work on me that he'll review this weekend. Dude, we have a meeting from 3-5. When exactly am I going to do it so he can review it? This is not my fault. Neither is the pie thing, but I entered into that consensually.
Tea's good though.
This weekend ... I krav, because I am, and I hang out with friends, because I can.

Allyson, don't make me snork the blueberries I'm eating. Blueberry-filled sinuses hurt.
I finally managed to hack my way through the masses of crap all over my desk, and was just heading out the door to drop it in someone else's lap when the nice lady in the office next door gave me a huge serving of tasty cheesy vegetarian lasagna and a can of Coke left over from a conference, totally for free. In 45 minutes, cake happens. Also, my new hat looks fabulous.
I'm now feeling slightly guilty, as if possibly I'm bogarting someone else's Friday-ma.
Memo to Perkins's flu shot: QUIT IT. You're supposed to be a prevention, not a cause.
I have a shitload of stuff to do this weekend. Soon I'm meeting friends for drinks and ham (at a place called Bar Jamon), then going to my ex's party (I guess). Tomorrow is a big NYC volunteering day thing, so I'll be doing that, and then I have a Halloween party to go to. Sunday is homework for real, and then a study date.
