I have not liked this week. I need a weekend like last weekend, and for next week to be healthier and less work-annoying than this one.

This is one of the game options on the Animaniacs computer game, btw. Emmett was just playing it this weekend. Every time the faux Barney gets clonked with an anvil he giggle gurgles "Whoa ho ho, that hurts!"
Ooh! I might have to try to find that. When was this game released?
This week was much better than last week for me. That's not saying much, but it's something.
How come I'm not surprised that Robin's dad would be charming?
Why is it only 2:40? It feels like 5, at least.
Another favorite thing of my father's (that I can see could be annoying and/or offensive from a less-charming person) is, "I don't care what your mother says, you're not so bad...." when I do/say something good.

Well, back when Animaniacs was still on the air. But it does still run on the newish iMac.
It's got a golf game with Dot, and the Burpinator 3000 where you have to go to lots of levels and destroy robots with burps. There's a racing game with obstacles and the anvil game which is really a variation on Breakout. But with lots of other Animaniacs fun! (Dot's golf song is pretty catchy.)
My mother is obessessed with people not knowing how old she is. She looks fantastic, so she could totally get away with claiming 35 or so (she's in her late 50s). She once asked my brother and I if we would mind if she told people that we were my dad's children by his first wife (which is, of course, her). My brother and I looked at each other and told her that she could tell people whatever she wanted, but don't look to us to back up the fantasy :)
It's not meanspirited at all. He's a big goofball.
This is the deal with my uncle Phil. He's a nut and my aunt May more than holds her own in that marriage.

Oh, dear. My mom does it in a very funny way. If anyone ever called her on it, she'd totally fess up with a look of, "What?"
