I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

ah the joys/cons of business travel.

joy = out of office
con = 2 completely full flights for 5 hours of my day yesterday
joy = knitting and listening to iPod on while getting paid
con = doing it from the middle seat of said full flights joy = per diem for food
con = getting in after local restaurants are closed and having Dominoes for dinner
joy = beautiful scenery
con = having to drive through it for 3 hours quickly in order for co-worker to make earlier flight
joy = relaxing night alone in hotel with free wifi
con = not being able to get into work emails and the only dinner option being a Bennigans

I feel so big time.

Snazzy business msbelle!

When I came home, there was some sort of incident outside the Home Depot. No idea what. Crowd, cops, some guy lying on the ground weirdly by the fence. Creepy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The NY librarian who has been visiting all this week to work on a project with me just left.

Hi.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Welcome home, msbelle.

Hey, did you send the thing, or should I get/make my own?

Sarameg, sorry about the broken guy.

Perk, was the NY librarian at least a dashing hottie?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

question for the hivemind:

i'm trying to think of teen shows where the protagonist is a girl, not a boy or a true ensemble. i have come up with:

Buffy
My So-Called Life
Joan of Arcadia
Roswell, the early years (because at some point it ceased to be about Liz)
Veronica Mars

Any others?

ETA: And The Gilmore Girls, although that show is as much about Loralai the mom as Rory.

Oh, you're still away? Right - free WiFi. If priority's not a bother for you, that's cool. I'll send you my work address.

Perkins, I'm so sorry. You deserve so much better.

Finally! I have a replacement adapter so I can again listen to my iPod in the car. CDs were making me nuts. 1.5 times through each one I was getting stabby impulses.

Which reminds me - envelope out to you tomorrow, 'belle.

Missed Alias because was running errands, and now will miss CSI because relatives are here for wedding.

And speaking of the wedding, tomorrow is the rehearsal dinner and Saturday's the big day, and I am officially beginning to freak out about stuff I might be forgetting to do. Whee.
