Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

question for the hivemind:

i'm trying to think of teen shows where the protagonist is a girl, not a boy or a true ensemble. i have come up with:

Buffy
My So-Called Life
Joan of Arcadia
Roswell, the early years (because at some point it ceased to be about Liz)
Veronica Mars

Any others?

ETA: And The Gilmore Girls, although that show is as much about Loralai the mom as Rory.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, you're still away? Right - free WiFi. If priority's not a bother for you, that's cool. I'll send you my work address.

Perkins, I'm so sorry. You deserve so much better.

Finally! I have a replacement adapter so I can again listen to my iPod in the car. CDs were making me nuts. 1.5 times through each one I was getting stabby impulses.

Which reminds me - envelope out to you tomorrow, 'belle.

Missed Alias because was running errands, and now will miss CSI because relatives are here for wedding.

And speaking of the wedding, tomorrow is the rehearsal dinner and Saturday's the big day, and I am officially beginning to freak out about stuff I might be forgetting to do. Whee.

Oh great, they are recylcing Sloan AGAIN.

shrift, don't worry too much. Short of the rings, the bridal party and remembering to put your clothes on, most weddings go off with several things forgotten and no one notices in the end.

Oh, remember to put your dress on.

Oh dear god. A coming soon on teevee ad just ran on CBS.

VAMPIRE BATS.

You know that thing where your eyeballs fall out of your head and roll across the floor, gathering lint and cathair and dust and then bounce off the glass doors?

Mine just did. Excuse me while I bump around furniture to retrieve them

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's true. I was even at a wedding recently where they forgot the rings, and I doubt anyone but the wedding party even noticed.

I have my dress, my jewelry, my shoes, and I even realized that I would need to wear a button-down on Saturday so I wouldn't ruin my hair and make-up while changing.

I am not in possession of the ring yet. I do need to buy a card and go to the bank to put money in it. I figure I'll have some whiskey for some liquid calm tonight, and grill the other bridesmaids tomorrow at the rehearsal dinner.

Oh, remember to put your dress on.

Check. And to make sure the bride has her dress on, since she can't put it on herself.

I have yet to realize that ahead of time -- first wedding, I was just careful taking off the t-shirt, second one, I borrowed a shirt of the groom's. I'd say you're pretty well ahead of the game.

In news about me, I freaking love getting home on Thursdays. Thursday day generally sucks for me, as I have class til 10 Weds night, so I stay up late, and then I have to get up for work that I hate, and then I have a class I'm not nuts about (although I think we made some progress tonight), but THEN! Then when I get home, I have a three-day weekend. Being a student is awesome on Thursday nights.
