Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is a brilliant marketing idea (and this a brilliant coopting of it). But those aren't pixels. I'm offended.

Hmm. Do I work more on the project charter? Do I stalk the guy who hasn't responded to my meeting invite? Do I work on this week's project status report? Do I circumvent the account manager and grill the potential users directly?

I have so many choices.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Do I stalk the guy who hasn't responded to my meeting invite?

Heh. I read this as "Do I stake the guy...." and considered it a feasible course of action for ita.

Silence means security silence means approval

Wonder Bread will no longer be sold in Washington and Oregon come December.

Whoa.

I went with stalking. It worked out okay. Onto the next bit of my list...

No, Idiot Man has not responded to my e-mail.

Whereas the bane of my existence is still being baneful.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I just accidentally deleted my project file, so I bet you're ahead of me. The Recycle Bin: it's a good thing.

The best thing about working in the server room is that when I do something stupid, I have the power to fix it, and nobody will ever know.

The worst thing about working in the server room is that it embiggens the scale of stupid things I have the power to do.

I have similar problems, though not with a server. There is one sure fire way to get fired around here. And I'm one of two people with the power to do it. FUN.

I actually got to work on a project that was mildly stimulating today. I rarely get that. Which tells me I really should be working for my division director (who handed me the project), not my boss.

Sigh.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Okay, that's a picture I don't want to see.

That's the mugshot TSM has.

I prefer Nick Nolte's myself. At least you know NN had a good time before getting arrested.
