Silence means security silence means approval

Hey Allyson, where be the website featuring the writings you made up? I think I missed it in the flotsam and jetsam of the last 500 posts.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, Jamaica's getting wet, but my parents are okay. Dry and safe and without property damage, although the same can't be said of the whole island. Casualties are low, though.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I swear to g*d, I just tried to map the area where I work to the nearest jamba juice (in tribeca, I think) and this is what I got:

[link]

first, turn around and go straight to brooklyn...

If this link doesn't work-- it's like 12 lines long-- I'll delete this post.

ETA: It doesn't work unless one manually adds the = to the end of the url. Odd.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

bon, the link just gives an error message. (Edit: And know I know why.)

Tribeca to Brooklyn--I love online mapping services. They're an endless source of amusement.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Emmett went to school despite waking up coughing. He stopped hacking after he had some tea and had no fever, so heartless Dad dropped him off at school.

JZ's co-workers let her work pile up in her absence - and she helps everybody in that unit and the clinic and elsewhere (above and beyond her duties). Weaselfuckers.

I hate work. I want to be somewhere else.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I hate work. I want to be somewhere else.

Can I come?

(They want this thing done by November 7th! November 7th! The system doesn't even work yet! How can I document it if it doesn't work?!?)

Can I come?

Absolutely. Let's swing by and collect shrift then go Elsewhere.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I am hungry. However, the baby is eating. Send cookies.

I am also wearing a pair of (jillidon'tlook) jeans.

I have to figure that I was really amazingly bloated in the weeks before I found out I was pregnant, because I bought these in late August last year (thrift store), and they didn't really zip up with ease, despite being a size larger than I usually wore.

Zip up just fine now, and I know I'm still up a few inches from where I was pre-pregnancy. Sadly, they serve to confirm that structured trousers and me are unmixy things.

Thank goodness my laundry will be ready to dry soon.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

(They want this thing done by November 7th! November 7th! The system doesn't even work yet! How can I document it if it doesn't work?!?)

Easy-peasey. Just get in your time machine, jaunt ahead to, oh, December 7th or so, document the working system, then come back with the files.

Tho', be careful not to hand them in before the 7th, or else they'll be tempted to make more changes. Causality is a tricky thing, I've found.
