I want to go to Hugos!
I already got my hair cut and went to the gorcery store. Now I should be cleaning before I take the cat to the vet, but I think instead I may nap, after I finish watching last night Numb3rs.

I have acheived cleanliness and groceries. Now I am getting some food and have officially bagged the idea of heading in early to the city.
What are you going to do in the city, msbelle?
a concert.
Fun!
Diner does not really have brunch-- annoying and wrong.
But Chelsea Market had sweet cherry tomatoes and macouns and honeycrisps-- hopefully right.
should be, but I was kinda getting into a groove here at home and now I gotta figure out what I can still get done before I have to head in.
Here's what I'd like to do:
weed in the garden
plant bushes
vaccuum
hang shelves in kitchen
clean bathroom
but I only have an hour and a half.
I bet a lot of orchestra members are going to be dressed in costumes based on the music. Maybe she could make her costume musically based instead? Something punny? Like an outfit with blocks sewn on it and a fan on her head and she could say she was a "woodwind"
I was bad today. Instead of going to our HOA meeting, I went to the Coffee Bean and then shopping.
Now I need to straighten up a little so I can lay out the new rug, take a shower and decide what I'm wearing to dinner tonight. I'm leaning towards my groovy new sweatpants.
Somebody stole my sunday comics! Louses.
I have no good costume ideas. Were I to dress up, I think I'd steal from Two Lumps and go as every character from a book.
I've gotten my hair cut, rented a steam cleaner and steam cleaned my carpet. Man, that was a disgusting education. I vacuum frequently, but apparently that doesn't get everything. It does look much better now. Still need to mop elsewhere, but I think I'll leave that to tomorrow.
Getting to the salon was an adventure. I left early to windowshop a bit first, since it is the first nice day in a while. Then 695 bogged down for no apparent reason. I get to Ellicott City, and whee, there's some sort of festival going on. No parking. I finally stalked an older couple back to their car and took their space when they left. I got to the salon just barely in time.
74 is mild, not warm. Any temp I deliberately keep my apartment at is not warm. In fact, I'd turn off the a/c now (it's at 75) but for the whole wet carpet thing.
