Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Punishingly Intricate

So what are people doing this weekend?

I'm running a 1/2 marathon tomorrow. And then I think all the rest of my plans for Saturday involve recovering with hot bath and cold beers. Sunday I think I'm going with my friend to discuss her proposed tattoo with a cutiehead tattoo artist.

The first head of the Foreign Section, Captain Sir Mansfield Cumming RN

I'm sure it stands for Royal Navy or something, but I quite like the idea he was a nurse whose career had taken a series of interesting turns.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

So what are people doing this weekend?

I have a gift certificate for Kohls and they're having a 25-30% off sale tomorrow. I think it's fate.

Go lisah with the 1/2 marathon!

May I note that Kat usually did a ice bath immediately after running long distances? Not quite as much fun as hot bath and cold beers. But apparently more effective.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Jesse is so the It Girl these days. What's up with Warren Buffet? Why is he flying you to Nebraska (yes I skip. wtf is it to you?)

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

So what are people doing this weekend?

Being the Dress Code enforcer for a fabulous gothy wedding. And helping keep the bride calm.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't know why, Burrell! He just asked for 20 people from my U. to hang out with him.

I'm running a 1/2 marathon tomorrow.

Go lisah!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

So what are people doing this weekend?

Seeing Wallace & Grommit tonight, then closing weekend of Faire all weekend. Everyone is in a tizzy because Fred Willard is going to be there taping a show. I don't know whether to squee or melt into a puddle of formless dread.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

SIS recruits high-calibre, motivated and dynamic staff to perform operational, technical and administrative functions in the UK and abroad. Send a CV and letter explaining which position you wish to be considered for to PO Box 1301 (not PO Box 1300), London, SE1 5UD.

I enjoy the fact that they feel the need to reiterate the address. I would have thought that someone can't pay enough attention to get the CV to the right place would be a clue that they may not have the skills needed to be a spy.
