Upscale, third world, whatever. I was in my late teens before I heard of the Osmonds (no idea why I typed "horizons" at first). But there were always newspapers. Most of my early crushes were politicians and cricket players.

Without having read the article, I can say that I don't think it's something I'm necessarily owed by the hotel industry, but it is something I look for on lists of amenities. I like high-speed internet access, and I like getting things for free.
