I sense I am going to have to see if G. can get me a nano at the company price.
Speaking of such things, Aurelia and Steph, I finally got the shirts yesterday, so I may get them mailed out at some point.

Not something that happens every day:
October 11,2005 | LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- A 10-passenger charter jet that was reported stolen from St. Augustine, Fla., was found at an airport near Atlanta, and authorities were attempting to figure out who had flown it there.
The plane, a $7 million Cessna Citation 7, was found at the Gwinnett County Airport-Briscoe Field on Monday and remained there Tuesday morning, said Darren Moloney, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Police Department. The plane is owned by Pinnacle Air of Springdale, Ark., which had no comment on the incident Tuesday.
Last night, I tripped over something in our living room. As a result, I have a vivid purple bruise right at the joint where my big toe meets the side of my foot.
This is a very inconvenient place to have a bruise.
msbelle, that's because we didn't share rent, took turns cleaning, finished the hot water for each other, and had each other's moms question the other about their daughter's whereabouts.
I should totally come back and visit longer, though. Only, you know, staying with you, with all sort of movie stars calling on 3:30am? I don't know.
In fact, only today a (single) friend who had recently finished her PhD here said how the only place she could ever go to for a post-doc abroad will be in NYC, due to the high Jewish and therefore marry-able population there.
Oh, ita, I'm sorry! earworming somebody before Yom-Kippur is not a good thing to do, I'm afraid. Well, it is the best time to say "sorry", but still. Um, what are your plans after the brown belt? What other stages exactly are there?
Also, I love you guys too t /Willow in doppelgänger

If it makes you feel more graceful, I keep tripping and banging one of my toes in the same spot, and every time I do, I bleed like a stuck pig.
It occurs to me that I've never seen a stuck pig bleed. Hm.
In light of the catching pregnancy thing: [link] Heh.
That makes sense. I'd be interested to know if they come in useful (or have any internal profile) in companies where geeks aren't near the top of the food chain.
I would be surprised if the management at most places I've worked had even heard of wikis, much less think of them as something useful for our work.
::forgives Nilly, just in time::
Um, what are your plans after the brown belt? What other stages exactly are there?
My plans are to vegetate, however the centre intends to get us training almost right away for black belt. I am in no rush whatsoever. Neither is my back. I just really like training with this group of people, and don't want to drop out and test later. We shall see. I don't think many of us feel the need to rush towards a black belt. You get attacked with a real knife in the test.
It occurs to me that I've never seen a stuck pig bleed.
I know it's "stuck" as in "stuck with a knife". But "stuck pig" usually gives me a mental image of a pig in a narrow corridor, squeezed between the walls, with a "now what?" thought balloon above his head. NSM with the blood.

It strikes me as a hard thing for the technical guys to sell to management too. I think they can be very useful, but they do look kinda weird.
Oh, and shrift, I sent you an e-mail about that weekend thing.
