'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm sorry ita. It would've made more sense to do it there.

I'll leave a hint in the tag in a mo.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can you get the GP to email them to you?

I'll try that.

I'd like to save Jason Dohring. I don't know if there's anything to save, since he's grown up in the institution, but I'd like to give him a chance.

eta: No need to apologise Daisy. I'm sorry if I sounded terse.

Goodbye tag.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Despite having today off, I had to get up early for an appointment. Spent the rest of the morning wandering around various malls, looking for stuff. Didn't find anything wenchy(why do I never remember that the "corset" tops from Hot Topic are not cut for people with my build? The size that fits my waist/hips is too tight in the bust, and the size that fits my chest is too big in the waist/hips.Gah.)but I did find a skirt to wear with one of my black tops for services. Oddly enough, the skirt was part of Sears' "Hispanic" line, whatever that means.

I also bought books.(had to reward myself somehow, and this was better for me than ice cream)

Coding and Sleeping

I don't really get why anyone would get into Scientology. I thought it was pretty much common knowlege that it was just made up my L. Ron.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well, they are awfully persuasive with the metal rods and all....

Although, honestly, I do get the thing that any religion sounds kooky if you just describe the stuff. It's the financial aspect that's the big red flag for me. Aside from the "made up as a money-making scam" part.

I must correct my last post. The skirt's from the Latina line, not the Hispanic line. Still kind of a huh? reaction from me.

Wow, tools are expensive. I may get more back from the insurance company than I expected.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

My dad used to get tools stolen out of the back of his truck every couple years-- actually, someone stole stuff out of the shed last year. It's pretty common; I guess a lot of tools are fairly valuable.
