Although, honestly, I do get the thing that any religion sounds kooky if you just describe the stuff. It's the financial aspect that's the big red flag for me. Aside from the "made up as a money-making scam" part.

Wow, tools are expensive. I may get more back from the insurance company than I expected.
My dad used to get tools stolen out of the back of his truck every couple years-- actually, someone stole stuff out of the shed last year. It's pretty common; I guess a lot of tools are fairly valuable.
Yeah, I've bought so many of my tools in bits and pieces, or had my dad buy them when he was visiting -- if you look at it all at once, they're a lot of money. Like, $800 worth. Too bad about that $500 deductible, though.
I am home from the Annual Turkey Eating Orgy. This year, for dessert, there were 2 pies, an ice cream cake, a carrot cake and two types of squares.
While I was gone, something seems to have moved into my bedroom walls. And it sounds large. The cats are on the case.
ita, somehow the power bar that my TV, VCR, etc. are plug into managed to get shut off this weekend. (Somehow is likely a brown tabby that weighs around 9 pounds.) So I didn't get to tape that doc. If it ever repeats, I will try to get it.
