The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It is teh yum. I usually don't put cheese on it, since I usually don't have any.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I had a too-large sandwich for lunch. And I went to the gym and worked out until my hands hurt. So I skipped dinner and am having a glass of wine and chatting on my laptop, which is comfy.

Depends on which value of "we" you're talking about. I'd have voted for Nixon's remains before Bush jr.

I think I would have voted for a sock puppet made up to look like Charlie Manson.

Also, the new JLH show may or may not be okay, but every shot I've seen of her in the ads seems to indicate she's coming from the mouth-open, mouth-closed Elizabeth Rohm school of acting. Ick.

Timelies. And Happy Birthday Jen, albeit a little late.

Don't cults have to form around a charismatic leader?

We went to Hard Rock for dinner last night. It's their one-year anniversary, so they were having some special thing or other. That's right, there wasn't a Hard Rock Cafe in Athens until a year ago (I'm guessing they tried to open for the Olympics and didn't make it).

It was your typical Hard Rock experience, with the slight difference that they didn't force us to exit through the store. We did have to enter and exit through the bar, which was populated by the guys who won't wear motorcycle helmets because they would muss their manga heads.

So anyway, checked that off. A good start to vacation week.

And see, for some reason, I flashed to ita right away.

I flashed ita too. "You will set up a queen, beautiful and terrible..."

I really really want some cheesecake now. Curse you people. 6am on a Saturday morning is nt an easy time to procure good cheeseake.

Also, NC has once again become a planet from the Dagobah system. I turned on the AC last night when it was 80 degrees and 80% humidity in the house.

Hmm. Hafta say, the despair part hasn't kicked in yet.

Your tag here.

Morning. Hungry. One hour until the good restaurant opens. This requires getting out of bed, doesn't it?
