I went out with grad school friends, but most of them left early, BUT! That meant I spent some extra time with some of the new kids, which was nice. Yay new people.
Tomorrow I'm afraid my one friend is going to want to come over to watch Alias off my DVR, which means I have got to do some cleaning before I meet them at 1. Which means no sleeping till all hours like I did this morning.

The friend is a year laid off friend. With more adventure than I have. And a night off from her teenage (pregnant! At 15 !) foster kid.
Friend is a good egg. She fosters teenage girls, but draws the line at raising a baby. But she remains a resource if they choose to have babies, just not in her house. I think it breaks her heart, but she knows she's not the person to raise a baby,. She IS the person to get to a 15 year year old and build her confidence and give her the skills to raise and/or give away a baby.
