Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've always heard Mesa Grill described as "just ok," but his new place Bar Americain is supposed to be great.

I ate at Mesa Grill like 4 years ago and it was extremely yummy, but Tabla is my best food experience in New York.

Silence means security silence means approval

Today in the cafeteria was the return of Zesty Nutloaf.

It's the "vegetarian" alternative to meatloaf they offer.

And it's ZESTY.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

hands-down, no question Nobu. Gawd.

information libertarian

Zesty Nutloaf sounds dirty to me.

Okay, so, clothes people, my clothes aren't that old. Maybe they're just more worn than yours, since I have fewer clothes and wash them more often? Anyway, there must be some way to use this data to justify buying me clothes. Right? Help me out here!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Flea, buy clothes just because. I'm certainly crap at buying them because of need (that's when I freak out and need help). When it comes to whim, I'm not that bad.

My best LA eating has been Hump so far, but I've been told there's better sushi to be had. Not sure if I can afford it.

Yes, flea, you need new clothes. I suggest Chadwicks and Target for basic inexpensive pieces.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Absolutely! Furthermore, if you get new clothes now, when the fall/winter stuff is on sale (I think Kohls has a 30% off sale right now) the older ones will last even longer, so they won't fall apart at another, more expensive shopping time.

I had an old winter coat absolutely disintegrate once at the end of February. Sure, it was going to be 60F in 2 weeks, but at the time it was still ~35. Trying to find a winter coat that fit then was difficult and, given the running around and eventual ordering off the web (thus tacking on shipping), expensive.

You need to shop. You need to shop now. And you need to buy several beautiful yet quite necessary items. It's the only fiscally responsible thing to do.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I found Mesa "just OK" too, for dinner, but I like the margaritas.

At Canon Expo the company also demonstrated a rather cheesy, but quite addictive new feature for its range of digital cameras. Expected to arrive on new models next year Smile Shot is a system that detects when the person in focus is smiling and then automatically takes a picture

That freaks me out.
