Is this one of the shows that is off the air for the month
It's FOX. Most of their shows (OC, Prison Break, Arrested Development, etc) are off the air until this sport with the small balls is over.
Which reminds me -- more guys should be too embarassed to heft their testicles in public. I feel dirty whenever I see someone doing it¹, and they always seem to make eye contact with me before I run screaming.
¹: Except in a martial context, like because I just kicked them really hard, or they need to shift their cup.
Oh, speaking of chefs, I noticed last night on my TiVo that no new Kitchen Confidentials are scheduled. Is this one of the shows that is off the air for the month, or has the rumor that the show was a goner--the rumor that was debunked--been rebunked? Does anyone know? I am *really* enjoying the show, so I expect it will be gone soon.
Remember that the playoffs are underway. Game 5 of the two NLDS series, if necessary, are on Monday. Ditto Game 5 of the NLCS on the 17th.
re KC, it's Fox, and it's playoff season. The rumors haven't been rebunked, but all the hiatuses are starting to hit my TiVo hard. Curse you, television, for luring me back in only to go away!

I think it's a baseball thing.
Hi. I'm a slow poster.
massive x-post. No, we're not bitter.
Thanks ita, dw, amy, and aurelia. I'm relieved that's why I'm not seeing it. It's a cute, cute, cute, cute show.
Schools cannot teach Creationism alongside the theory of evolution (because of a Supreme Court ruling in the late '80s). So what did the publishers of a Creationism textbook do? Replace every mention of 'Creationism' with 'Intelligent Design.'
Kinda blows a hole in their "Intelligent Design is science, not Creationism" argument, huh?

I've always heard Mesa Grill described as "just ok," but his new place Bar Americain is supposed to be great.
I ate at Mesa Grill like 4 years ago and it was extremely yummy, but Tabla is my best food experience in New York.
Today in the cafeteria was the return of Zesty Nutloaf.
It's the "vegetarian" alternative to meatloaf they offer.
And it's ZESTY.
