Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks Dana and Le Nubian. I did see that part, but it didn't sink in that it was RN.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Harriet Miers's Blog!!! [link] (It's a parody.)

I've always believed that dreams really do come true. Wouldn't it be funny if Souter and I got married? Like our kids would automatically be Supreme Court Justices! j/k I know how the Constitution works.

For all that I dislike Massa George Bush, I have to express my respect for his canny Supreme Court picks. The rabid conservatives don't like the new woman, and the worst the less-brilliant liberals can say is "We don't know much about her yet." Well played, George. You're still a git, but you do have some political acumen.

Silence means security silence means approval

So, is the "new" Charlotte Church what could be considered "chav," or is it a shout-out to Farscape?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I feel like ass today. I know I should eat some food, but nothing sounds good and food smells bad, yet not eating will lead to feeling weaker, yes?

I feel like ass today also, and lunched on a chicken soup with a clear both. It was nourishing and with a little pepper helped my sinuses too.

Compassionately intolerant

I'm all of ass today. Had the terrible, hurt all over flu/crud yesterday. Today, it has settled into the demented mouth-breather stage with endless running of the nose and less fever.

Progresso(tm) Chicken Noodle Soup is like the stuff of healing gods. ijs.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You poor people! Nice Broth is clearly the way to go.

I think I might expire of boredom. My boss doesn't even care. He just called me into his office to "find" a file for him (in the drawer where it's supposed to be), and then sent me back out again.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

People are being quiet this morning. Is it because everyone is either sick or thinking about shoes?
