Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I wonder if many of the Republicans up for reelection in '06 will turn on Bush?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Does anyone here watch Crossing Jordan? I continue to be confused by people's jobs (like are Jordan, Bug and Nigel all medical examiners? Maybe with different specialties? They are confusing. Also, if Lily is a grief counselor, why does she have to do things like call maintance to fix things and keep Dr. Macy's schedule?)

Our wings are not tired.

It would be nice if candidate after candidate is rejected until say 2009. And did everyone like that beautiful sunrise view of the pyramids?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just realised that I have a commitment ceremony to attend this weekend. I might have to drop the cash on that dress after all. For very First World values of the words "have to."

For the dress in question, does one have to wear stilettos?

What is even happening?

Is this a life partners commitment? I think I need more coffee despite the late hour here, because at first, all I could think was mental institution.

I might have to drop the cash on that dress after all.
You poor, poor dear.

does one have to wear stilettos?
What are you thinking of wearing, instead?

Shoes will need to be bought, I think, either way. I just want to buy shoes I can walk in without practice.

well, "have to" is kinda strong. should one wear stilettos? Yes. But, this is a dress that emphasizes leg. If you have other shoes that accentuate the leg, then go for it.
