You know, my big sister could really beat the crap out of her. I mean, really really.

Re the OC: All I could think of with Marissa's new school was the episode of Seinfeld where Elaine starts hanging around with new people, just like Jerry, George and Kramer. I was all, "Man they're stealing from Seinfeld." And it wasn't even funny.

Also, Summer doesn't have a camera phone? Please?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

TOTALLY, Sue. Totally.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Re: the OC

I didn't get the Seinfeld connection at the time, but I can totally see it now

also

Why can't they use Seth and Summer to their full advantage? Just because they are together doesn't make them have to be boring. And a very small part of the show. They are much better actors than Mischa Barton!

I am happy with my decision to give up the OC this season.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wonder if there are people who picked up The OC this season or last and rented the S1 DVDs and hate it because it's all light-hearted and funny.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

It smelled like the world's biggest barbecue in los feliz this morning. And the sky was all smoke.

to get the cheaper price for 6 months on high-speed internet (which I am getting to go with my fancypants new iBook) I have to go to a TWCable store. That means a trip to the mall tomorrow, I gues. Oh geez. While I'm there I guess I will just have to do a little shopping and a walk-through of Target. breaks my heart.

For my sinuses, it's like inhaling horseradish. The walk from my car to the building is enough to start stabbing pains.

HR keeps sending out e-mails reminding us that bad smells do not poor air quality make. They must be being hounded.

It looks a lot less threatening here - no visible flame'll do that. And no plumes. It's diffuse instead -- coming over the pass on the 405 into the Valley is quite dramatic. But you can smell the fires in West LA anyway.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am so sorry, msbelle. I wish it wasn't going to be such a tough day.

P.S. I think you should buy yourself a cookie.

We were headed home last night at around 6:30 and when the sun hit the smoke line, the sun looked bright red. Then it got blocked out completly. We're too far away to get any ash but we could faintly smell it. Very scary.
