Aims, did MM go to work today? I don't know if his office is anywhere near the fires or not.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I love the flamingo costume, but Tinkerbell is hard to beat.

Franny is going to be a doggy this year. That's what she said she wanted to be, and we found a costume that fits her. I think I'll go the lazy route with Isaac and dress him like a football player because I already have a jersey ('SC, of course). No costume for me, but I do have a skull and cross bones t-shirt I can wear.

Trust my rage

I'm planning on a peapod for Ellie, but no costume yet. I don't even know if we will do anything for Halloween, but it's her first so I think we should do something.

I can't even.

My niece, who is 5, has decided she needs to be Lilo (of Lilo and Stitch), but original Lilo, not the sequel, and my sister has been going mad trying to find a costume. She says she now has totally sympathy for those parents who paid too much money for just the right Elmo at Christmas.

but original Lilo, not the sequel,

Now I'm incredibly curious as to what the difference is.

Apparently the new Lilo costume is much more princessy, which normally we would think would go over gangbusters, since this is one princessy kid, but no, it isn't Lilo enough for her. Right then. To the eBaymobile! (rackinfrackin Disney)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The older version of LiLo didn't work with Windows XP.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

All the more reason to use grub

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Lillian is going as a lion, on account of getting the costume for a buck-fifty at Goodwill.
