You have pissed off the PylonPeople something fierce if they have taken away your whole exit permanently.
PylonPeople? Were Sleestaks involved?

Whoa, Matt. You have pissed off the PylonPeople something fierce if they have taken away your whole exit permanently.
There was no indication it would be gone yesterday, yet this morning a caterpillar steam shovel was eating my off ramp for breakfast.
Good God Tommy! That sucks! I hope things work out for the best possible outcome.
Work is going to kill me. I think I need a secretary (even though I am one!). What happened to the offices like in the movie 9-5 where there are, like 1400 secretaries with some supervisor secretaries? I need that, but my experience is more like 1400 bosses, one secretary.
In the plus solumn, no one here at new job has exhibited any signs of being BAT-SHIT-CRAXY, like my old boss.

Well that's nice.
Went to get together with some friends in the city a couple weekends back and the off-ramp I needed was closed. Taking the exit before it ended up adding 30 minutes to my trip because I didn't realize that not only was I farther north than I needed to be, but I was also farther east. Once I realized I was on the wrong side of the river, I then had to find my way back through the maze of one way streets and suicidal pedestrians.
Have I mentioned how glad I am that I'm a suburbanite and not a citydweller? City driving makes me insane.
But if you lived in the city you could walk and take public transportation and not be reliant on the car!
Though, I guess that depends on the city and what you're doing in it.
Ah, but if you're a non-driving citydweller, you never have to deal with exits at all!
Non-driving exclamatory xpost!
Oh dear, tommy, I'm so sorry. I hope there's not much loss, maybe just a soft glow to everything so stuff looks prettier.
Does anyone know what they're dressing up as for Halloween (if they are)?
PylonPeople? Were Sleestaks involved?
The PylonPeople are the enemies of the just and the good. One of their favourite tricks is pyloning off a lane of a busy road on say, a Thursday night when no work is scheduled until Monday. Eating an off-ramp? (Of course with no notice, their ways are nefarious) Clearly, they are escalating their tactics. Time to respond in kind with phone calls and emails to the city/highway works watchdogs.
Oh, damn, tommy. Much, much -ma to you and your eye.

Maybe your university is like mine? State budget cuts and crunches and belt-tightenings have made it almost impossible for anyone to get a raise, leading in the last decade to lots and lots of people being unable to get even a cost-of-living increase at their present level, and thus being reclassified to upper-level admin or analyst positions in order to get salary boosts; the two marked consequences of which are that there are some job duties upper level admins and analysts aren't allowed to do, so the folks who didn't get reclassed got more work, and that lots and lots of divisions now have 1400 bosses, one secretary. Verily doth it suck.
Non-driving exclamatory xpost!
I almost made one too! Go go team don't-need-cars-at-all!
Okay, it's lunchtime. Good thing I have an umbrella stashed in my desk.
