Viggo was as charming as I've ever seen him, and it was good to see Stewart delighted to be flabbergasted.
It was definitely one of the better celebrity, as opposed to political, interviews I've seen him do. The Colbert addendum was icing.

The Colbert thing killed me.
After sleeping too late again this morning, I think I may finally be recovered from my weekend. I wish I didn't have homework due tonight and a meeting this afternoon.
And poor laid-up Rio! Immobile for a couple of weeks seems like it would suck for reals.
The Colbert thing killed me.
I gotta say, if Viggo actually sends the characters of LOTR carved in chocolate to him, they better show us. However, Colbert's reaction per Jon, NSM.
Ow. The oatmeal here at work is apparently like unto napalm. I spilled some onto my finger while trying to use the provided laddle which was half again the circumfrance of the takeout bowls. It quickly went from "Hmm. That's a little warm. Let me finish filling my bowl." to "Dear God, it burns! Get it off! Get it off!" in the space of about 3 seconds.
Viggo was just adorable, in that creepy way that he is. The rubber animals thing was bizarrely charming (and I think Jon was genuinely surprised).
Also, I'm going to marry Stephen Colbert.
Viggo way more charming and less intense than I expected. Also, cute in a suit. And I love that Colbert is such a geek.

When he first walked out, from a distance, he looked little like Vartan-as-Vaughn. I think it was the hair in combo with the suit. But I've been cramming ALIAS lately, so that may have had something to do with it.
Oh my god, my new officemate's phone is loud. I think I jumped a foot.
For as generally lazy and unspastic as I am, I'm really easily startled.
Just sent a letter to the editor to USA Today. I keep seeing letters saying it's stupid to rebuilid in New Orleans because the city's below sea level and will only get hit by more storms. I countered with saying Florida is no stupider a place to live, what with it being first target of hurricanes, and no one says we shouldn't rebuild in (white, affluent, governed by the President's brother) Florida.
