I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

Oh my god, my new officemate's phone is loud. I think I jumped a foot.

For as generally lazy and unspastic as I am, I'm really easily startled.

brillig

Just sent a letter to the editor to USA Today. I keep seeing letters saying it's stupid to rebuilid in New Orleans because the city's below sea level and will only get hit by more storms. I countered with saying Florida is no stupider a place to live, what with it being first target of hurricanes, and no one says we shouldn't rebuild in (white, affluent, governed by the President's brother) Florida.

Art Crawl!!!

Must watch the repeat of TDS. Sounds like fun.

I really enjoyed Supernatural . . .and if the the circumcision thing that was mentioned upthread was on House, you guys know that was already on Nip/Tuck, right?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bah. Dr. said she wanted me to see an ophthalmologist within a week. Then when I mentioned that my vision problem has gotten worse since I saw my optometrist last Thursday, she went ahead and made me an appointment at an ophthalmologist tomorrow morning. She said she's concerned that I'm only getting symptoms in one eye.

If this turns up nothing, she's gonna have me get an MRI. Don't think I've ever had one of those before.

What is even happening?

Oh tommyrot, I hope whatever is going on is discovered right away, and is completely easy to treat, and not important in any way.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

FYI, "My Name Is Earl" is also repeated several times on Bravo. I watch Commander in Chief (OMG, the LOVE), then easy view Supernatural and do My Name Is Earl on Bravo. Tuesdays are TOUGH.

I was thinking about giving my TiVo away and getting the one with the DVR recorder, but since there's so much good TV on right now, I might keep it and hook it up in the bedroom.

Oh, yay. So I can watch or Tivo TAR in the living room, and tape House in the bedroom (Fox comes in better than CBS there) and I guess since I can't remember at the moment what the other conflict was it'll just have to go by the wayside.

Also, I have the same Tivo plan. Maybe for my birthday.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am LOVING My Name is Earl. Fun-nee. It has a smart but laid-back vibe to it--very different than the feel of most of what's on TV.
