Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I wonder if I'll ask the krav instructor who has one. He's very colourful. I've also noticed it here at work on some of the cafeteria staff.

After digging further, I find that it also can be a non-gang tattoo, and that it symbolizes "I don't care for anything". In Hispanic gangs, it's used to signify "Mi vida loca" - Los Vatos Locos seem to be especially fond of it.

And considering some of the sites that've come up, I'm not Googling anymore on my work computer. Phew.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

This just makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. I see it strapped to Wile E. Coyote's back and him crashing into a GIANT rock.

I'm right there with you. I read that and I nearly fell out of my chair laughing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Now I need to check the krav instructor for open teardrops.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

That is brilliant, Cindy. Though possibly it should just be NFTO, as the NFTO-ness is sometimes sad, sometimes astounding, sometimes gobsmacking, and occasionally just remarkable or inexplicable.

I think the Tom Cruise lectures are all of the above, though I'm very disappointed that they'll just be at the Scientology Celebrity Center. I was hoping for the Learning Annex.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Looks like I will get to see Serenity on Friday night. Don't know precisely where yet, but that'll be worked out soon enough.

The Tom Cruise lecture series is yet another example of Truth is Stranger than Fiction.

Silence means security silence means approval

Question for Plei (or anyone who knows): What are you using to edit XML? A tool? or Notepad?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I am so ready to go home. Today has been dragging. It doesn't help that the clock for our phone system is 5 minutes fast and I have to keep reminding myself when I look at it that it's not that close to 5 yet.

I edit XML in Notepad, but I don't do much of it.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Tom Cruise is giving this lecture?

::dies::

I think I need the burial plot next to Betsy's.

Last week MADtv did a celebrity roast skit about Rosa Parks. She ended up getting mad, grabbing the microphone, and busting on all the assembled celebrities. The funniest of the jokes was "Mrs. Parks" telling Pamela Anderson that she'd been on her knees more than Tom Cruise in the Scientologists' steam room.
